Privacy Policy

1. Controller

FARMFEED COMPANY EXPORTAÇÃO IMPORTAÇÃO LTDA, CNPJ 51.497.029/0001-61, headquartered at Rod. ERS-342, Km 6, s/n, Interior, 98910-000, Três de Maio/RS, Brazil ("FarmFeed"), is the controller of personal data processed on this website (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018 — "LGPD", art. 5, VI).

2. Data processed and purposes

2.1. Browsing statistics — only upon consent in the cookie notice (art. 7, I): a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie, without direct identification of the data subject; first and last visit dates; number of visits; pages viewed; language; browser type; and access origin (referring page or campaign parameters). The IP address is not stored for this purpose.

2.2. Contact form: name, species of interest (if provided), message, access origin (referring page or campaign parameters, to measure outreach performance — art. 7, IX) and a code derived from the IP address (an encrypted, irreversible hash; the address itself is not kept), solely to prevent abuse and automated submissions (art. 7, V and IX). Submission starts a WhatsApp conversation, transmitting name and message to Meta’s platform, subject to its own privacy policy.

2.3. Application security: the IP address of requests is turned into an encrypted, irreversible code (hash), used only within a 10-minute window to contain abusive access, and erased at the next automatic cleanup; the address itself is not stored, except as per item 2.2 (art. 7, IX).

2.4. Cookie preference: the data subject’s choice (accept or decline) is kept in a first-party cookie for 12 months.

2.5. Click count: clicks on the WhatsApp buttons add 1 to a counter that records only the button and the page language, with no cookie, no identifier and no time of click (art. 7, IX).

3. Retention

Statistical records: up to 12 months from the last visit. Contact messages: up to 24 months from receipt. After these periods, records are deleted automatically.

4. Sharing

Data is neither sold nor shared for marketing purposes. Fonts, map and libraries are served by the site’s own server. Exceptions: (i) WhatsApp conversations, kept on Meta’s platform and governed by its terms; (ii) hosting by HostGator, which processes data on FarmFeed’s behalf as processor — depending on the contracted plan, servers are located in Brazil or the United States, a case of international data transfer (art. 33).

5. Data subject rights

The data subject may request, under art. 18: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, portability, information on sharing and withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal regarding statistics may be exercised at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer, with immediate deletion of the cookie and the corresponding record. The data subject may also petition the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (art. 18, §1; gov.br/anpd).

6. Contact channel

Personal-data requests: camila.witczak@farmfeed.com.br, answered within 15 days. As a small-scale processing agent, FarmFeed maintains this channel in lieu of appointing a DPO (Resolution CD/ANPD 2/2022; LGPD, art. 41).

7. Security

FarmFeed adopts technical and administrative measures able to protect personal data from unauthorized access and from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration (art. 46).

8. Data subjects in the European Union

Access originating from the European Union is governed by consent, as to statistics (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)), and pre-contractual steps, as to the form (art. 6(1)(b)). The rights of GDPR arts. 15–21 may be exercised through the channel in clause 6, without prejudice to lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (art. 77).

9. Changes

This Policy may be updated at any time; the date in the header indicates the current version.
